2 bank officials killed in Pabna

Two bankers of Pubali Bank were killed in Dashuria area under Ishwardi upazila of the district on Monday morning. The deceased were identified as Junior Officer (cash) Abul Kalam Azad, 35, and Peon Amir Hossain, 26, of Maligachha branch (Pabna) of the bank. On information, police recovered the bodies from a sugarcane field near Pabna Sugar Mill of Dashuria area at around 9:30am. The keys of bank locker and some papers also were recovered from the spot. Confirming the matter, Ishwardi Thana Officer-in-Charge Biman Kumar Das said it was a planned murder and we will look into the matter.
