PM-Taranco meeting at 4pm

Oscar Fernandez-Taranco, Assistant Secretary-General for Political Affairs of the United Nations (UN), is set to hold meeting again with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Tuesday afternoon.

The meeting will be held with a view to curb difference between the government and   the main opposition BNP for holding a participatory election.

PM’s assistant press secretary made the disclosure to journalist on Monday evening. 

Earlier, Taranco, also the special ambassador of UN secretary general Ban-ki-Moon, had meetings with BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia in two phases on Saturday and Monday.
