AL man chopped dead in Laxmipur
A Juba League activist was chopped to death by miscreants at Maguri village under Sadar upazila of the district on Friday noon.
The deceased was identified as Abdul Hannan Sumon 35, a local Juba League activist and son of Abdul Mannan.
Locals said that a gang of miscreants chopped Sumon while he was roaming with his son in the area at around 12:45 pm, leaving him injured critically.
He succumbed to his injuries on the way to hospital.
Dattapara Police Outpost In-Charge Sub-Inspector M Nur Nabi confirmed the matter to banglanews.
