Clash kills 1 in Dhaka College

A student was killed and two other sustained bullet injury in Chhatra League infighting at Dhaka College in the capital on Friday midnight.

The deceased was identified as Rakib Al Faruk, 4th year student of Psychology of the college. Sources said that supporters of Chhatra League president Sakibul Hasan Suin and general secretary Fuad Hasan Pallab locked into a fierce clash centering a brawl. At one stage they blasted cocktails and locked into gunfight, leaving three injured. One of them succumbed to his injuries at Dhaka Medical College Hospital.
